The Bioinformatics Shared Resource at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis provides integrated computational and analytical support for neuroscience and translational biomedical research. The Shared Resource collaborates with investigators from study design through data analysis, interpretation, visualization, and publication support.

The Shared Resource supports high-dimensional and multi-omics datasets including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, bulk RNA sequencing, epigenomics, proteomics, microbiome analysis, and AI-assisted imaging workflows. Advanced computational pipelines are developed using reproducible and scalable frameworks including cloud computing, GPU-enabled processing, Nextflow workflows, and high-performance computing infrastructure.

Services include:

  • Single-cell and spatial transcriptomics analysis
  • MERFISH/MERSCOPE computational workflows
  • Multi-omics integration
  • AI-driven image analysis and cell segmentation
  • Statistical and pathway analysis
  • Data visualization and publication-ready figure generation
  • Reproducible workflow and pipeline development
  • Experimental design consultation
  • Manuscript and grant support
  • Bioinformatics training and education

The Shared Resource supports collaborative research programs focused on spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration, neuronal regeneration, and translational neuroscience.
